Dedicated to jack and the history of the airport

In the summer of 2021 the airport property was sold to Shamrock Aviation. We wish the new owner the very best and hope he has as many adventures as we have had. no plans have been shared for the future of the property.

About Jack and building the airport

In 1971 Jack Hardy made improvements to a grass runway, that was surrounded by apples trees.  Jack paved the runway, put lights in and  began to operate the airport on a full time basis in 1974. On December 17, 1983, which was the 80th anniversary of the Wright Brothers' first flight, Jack and Jean were married at the end of runway 12. The Reverend Jack Daniels, performed the ceremony. Jack said this wedding was a three ring ceremony.  Us and the runway. This was the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

At Littlebrook, there was a busy flight school, airplane charter operation, and also a banner tow operation.  With the closure of Pease Air Force Base, located in Newington, New Hampshire which is 5 miles from Littlebrook Airpark, many civilian aircraft began to use this new civilian airport. Littlebrook Airpark was able to survive this transition, and the operations were scaled back to just flight instruction, and airport related business such as fuel sales, and hangar storage.

In 2000, Jack died from cancer.  We all still miss him, especially Jean.
